Confirmation work is always in the hands of the parish priest. You can register children who should be confirmed this year with the parish priest, Kristín Þórunn Tómasdóttir at the email address

The education begins in the fall.

Usually confirmation masses are held on Whitsunday weekend in Skálholt.

Confirmation day in Skálholt

Confirmation day in Skálholt is a varied and fun program for confirmation children who visit Skálholt.

The goal of the confirmation day is to introduce the children to Skálholt as the main weekend - and historical place of the country in a fun way and allow them to get to know the place on their own terms.
