Artifacts in Skálholtskirkja
Inside the church are artifacts from the 17th century. The artifacts came from Brynjólfs Church, which stood from 1650 - 1802. From there they went to Valgerðar Church, then the Parish Church, and finally to Skálholt Cathedral, where they are today.
There is an altar, staves and pulpit from the last cathedral, the altar of Bishop Sveinsson Brynjólf and the pulpit of master Jón Vídalín.
