Skálholt's board

Skálholt's board is appointed by the Church Council. The chairman is Þorsteinn Pálsson, former prime minister. The board is an executive board and the executive director and consecrating bishop work with the board in charge and responsibility for the place.

 

The board works to strengthen the activities of the place in accordance with the laws and rules of procedure of the synod and after the further decision of the church council and the bishop of Iceland.
